data science?

why did i study data science

Technology is evolving. Every day new algorithms try to conquer the world. Artificial intelligence plays a huge role and I felt like I need to learn how to make and use it. Finding treasures in data and discovering valuable insights draws me to this field.

How did i learn it

Before the start, I had experience in python, robotic, computer vision, and the development of virtual and augmented reality apps from my bachelor’s. I already got my Software Tester Certificate. After I decided to develop myself, I followed a seven-month Full-Stack Data Science Bootcamp from the USA. I did a house cleaning robot as a final project.

What did i learn

I Learned expert-level Python with related packages like Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, for data wrangling. I can use Matplotlib or Seaborn for visualization but sometimes Tableau is useful for understanding the data and for quick insights.

For machine learning applications it was fun to use Sklearn in Kaggle competitions. Working with time series data gave me a different perspective. Discovering seasonality and using Arima, Sarima kind algorithms was exciting for me.

In the deep learning part Keras is my favorite but I also like working in Py-torch in an object-oriented way was great and completing projects in the agile process was good practice for team working.

Now?

I finished Full-Stack Data Science Bootcamp and gained my certificate. I am tinkering with my robot and trying to teach it different kinds of things with the power of artificial intelligence.
